For too long, hair care for natural textures was treated as an afterthought in mass-market beauty. Shelves were filled with heavy petroleum-based creams that weighed down curls, or harsh sulfate formulas that stripped delicate scalp lipids. The problem was clear: textured hair needs moisture that penetrates, lipids that seal, and gentle cleansers that protect the scalp's natural balance.
Rather than waiting for the industry to change, Slimky Hair chose a different path: to create our own products from scratch.
